Angela  Della Volpe, Ph.D.

Professor of Linguistics

Biography

Dr. Della Volpe holds a Ph.D. in Indo-European Studies from UCLA. She joined the Faculty at Cal State Fullerton in 1980 and has since taught a variety of Linguistics courses, particularly Historical Linguistics, as well as courses in the structure of the English Language. Dr. Della Volpe served as Chair of Linguistics for a number of years before becoming Associate Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences in 1996. She became Dean of the Collehe of Humanities and Social Sciences in 2010.

Dr. Della Volpe has co-authored several volumes of the Journal of Indo-European Studies Monograph Series and is co-author of Analyzing English Grammar (Pearson Longman 6th edition 2009).
