California Linguistic Notes
California Linguistic Notes is a semi-annual peer-reviewed journal which publishes articles, notes & replies, squibs, and book reviews of interest to the field of general linguistics. You will have noticed that we have been on publication hiatus for a while. We are able to begin publishing again with an expanded editorial board. There are now four co-editors for the journal. Dr. Ogbonna Anyanwu, Department of Linguistics and Nigerian Languages, University of Uyo, Nigeria, joined the journal's board in June 2020 and we have now been joined by Prof. Omego, Department of Linguistics & Communication Studies, University of Port Harcourt, and Prof. Udoh, Department of Linguistics & Nigerian Languages, University of Uyo.
We invite your submissions of articles in general linguistics from core structural areas such as syntax, semantics, phonetics/phonology, to socio-linguistic issues including issues of language & power, language & gender, discourse analysis, and more. We welcome a diversity of theoretical frameworks.
The journal may be accessed by following the appropriate link in the side menu to the desired volume and issue.
Submissions can be made by email to any of the co-editors.
